نسخة جديدة لبريد الويب الإلكتروني AOL

محيط: أطلقت شركة American on line عن إطلاق نسخة محدثة من شبكة البريد الإلكتروني AOL ليتمكن المستخدمون من الدخول على بريد Google و Yahoo والعديد من المواقع الأخرى من على صفحة AOL مباشرة .

وتمتاز النسخة المحدثة بسرعة أكبر مع إمكانية اختيار الصور من متجر الصور مع إمكانية إضافة خواص جديدة لخدمة البريد الإلكتروني عبر موقع http://dev.aol.com .

ويمكن لمستخدمي النسخة الجديدة التعديل في الروزنامة أو دفتر العناوين مباشرة من على سطح المكتب الخاص بالحاسب أو من خلال الهواتف الجوالة مثل blackberry و iPhone .

وتعد شركة AOL إحدى الشركات التي تمتلكها شركة time warner والتي تمتلك قناة CNN .

نسبة المحتوى العربي على الإنترنت 0.5%

محيط: أعلن مسؤولون في مركز التراث الحضاري والطبيعي في مصر أن حجم المحتوى العربي على الإنترنت لا يتعدى نسبة 0.5% من المحتوى العالمي للشبكة العالمية.

وأشارت دراسة للمركز إلى أن نسبة التراث العربي والإسلامي المسجل على الشبكة العالمية لا تتجاوز نحو 16.5% مما تم تسجيله على قائمة التراث العالمي، وهو ما يتناقض بصورة كبيرة مع حجم الإسهامات التي قدمتها الثقافة والحضارة العربية على امتداد تاريخ الإنسانية .

وأشارت الدراسة إلى أن المحتوى العربي الرقمي على الانترنت يمكن تقسيمه إلى (تراثي، فني، معرفي، خبري، ومجتمعي)، داعية إلى إثراء المحتوى العربي على الإنترنت للحفاظ على الهوية والتراث في العالم العربي للأجيال القادمة، خاصة أن المحتوى العربي لا يتعلق بالماضي وإنما المعاصر أيضاً

واشنطن: حصلت شركة تريند مايكرو المتخصصة في برمجيات أمن المعلومات على جائزتين برونزيتين عالميتين عن حلولها لحماية الشبكات من الفيروسات نيتورك فايروس وول إنفورسر و موبايل سيكيوريتى 5.0 .

تكنولوجيا جيجا فاي تنقل 3 جيجابايت في الثانية

سول: نجح باحثون في كوريا الجنوبية في تطوير تقنية جديدة لنقل البيانات والملفات لاسلكياً بين الحاسبات الإلكترونية بمعدلات فائقة السرعة.

وأكد الباحثون أنهم تمكنوا باستخدام هذه التكنولوجيا الجديدة من نقل فيلم كامل عبر جهازين في ثانيتين فقط، موضحين أن التكنولوجيا الجديدة التي أطلقوا عليها اسم جيجا فاي يمكنها نقل 3 جيجابايت من البيانات خلال ثانية واحدة.

وأشاروا إلي أن سرعة نقل البيانات باستخدام جيجا فاي التي طورها معهد أبحاث الاتصالات والإلكترونيات بعد عام من الدراسات تعادل تلك التي تتمتع بها خطوط برودباند وذلك في حال استخدامها في نطاق عشرة أمتار من مصدر الإرسال.

حدائق الراحة أولى مناطق الإمارات الموصولة بشبكة الألياف الضوئية للمنازل

مقدمة الي MS Office Sharepoint Server/ MOSS 2007

الفكرة العامة :

هو وجود منتج ويب (web-based application) واحد لجمع و مشاركة المعلومات بين مجتمع معين من المستخدمين (منظمة او شركة معينة) بمختلف انواع المعلومات
(MS word docs/ products database/ contacts lists/ calender events/ news lists/ projects planning) و اي نوع من المعلومات يمكن مشاركته بين مجموعة معينة من المستخدمين .

تاريخ ال SharePoint :

في عام 2000 : اصدرت Microsoft تطبيق ويب يسمي digital dashboard و كان يستخدم مبدأ جديد في الويب يسمي Web Parts و هي عبارة عن تقسيم الصفحة الي اجزاء كل جزء يعرض نوع معين من المعلومات مثل جزء للاخبار و جزء لل contacts و جزء للمستندات و هكذا و يستطيع المستخدم ترتيبها والتحكم فيها من غير الحاجة الي مبرمج ويب و من المتصفح مباشرة.

2001 : اصدرت MS اول منتجين SharePoint/ SP و كانت الميزة الاولي لهذه المنتجات هي امكانيات التعاون المتقدمة (Advanced Collaboration Features)

الاول هو SharePoint Team Services/ STS
و هو تطبيق ويب مجاني يستخدم لمشاركة المعلومات بانوعها المختلفة بين المستخدمين و تخزن في Sql server database و لم يكن يحتوي علي امكانيات ادارة المستندات
(Document-Management Features) و لذلك لم يستخدمها الا منظمات قليلة و لم تكن تناسب المنظمات الضخمة (Large Intranet)

الثاني هو SharePoint Portal Server/ SPS
و هو منتج منفصل ليس مجاني و في البداية (في مرحلة beta تحت اسم Tahore)كان عبارة عن مجلد عام في MS Exchange 2000 serverو لكن تم اصدار المنتج منفصل عن ال MS Exchange و لكن بحتوائه علي Exchange Database Server ضمني داخل المنتج و كان SPS يحتوي علي Document-Management Features مثل تتبع اصدارات المستند (document versioning) و مرعاة التوافق بين تعديلات المستخدمين (check out/check in) و Document Workflow و ايضا محرك بحث (Search Engine)

2003 : اصدرت MS اصدار جديد من STS و لكن تحت اسم Windows Sharepoint Services/ WSS
و ايضا اصدار جديد من SPS و لكن هذه المرة لا يعتمد علي Exchange Server مضمن او منفصل و لكن اصبح Add-On يتم تركيبه علي WSS
بمعني انه في النهاية ظهر منتج واحد متكامل (Integrated Sharepoint Solution) يعتمد كليا علي Sql Server database

2006 : تم اصدار WSS 3.0 و ايضا MS Office Sharepoint server 2007/ MOSS كمتداد لل SPS .

في النهاية يوجد WSS 3.0 المجاني يقدم الخدمات الاساسية لمشاركة و ادارة المعلومات بين افراد الفريق الواحد و يوجد ايضا ال MOSS 2007 الذي يتم تركيبه علي ال WSS 3.0 ليضيف مزيد من الخدمات و الامكانيات المتقدمة و ليس مجاني و كلا من WSS 3.0 و ال MOSS 2007 يعتمد في تخزين البيانات علي MS Sql Server.

في البداية يجب ان نتذكر ان WSS هي المنتج الاصلي و يعمل علي Windows Server 2003 و تقدم الخدمات الاساسية للتعاون بين افراد الفريق الواحد و ان

MOSS هي عبارة عن Add-On اختياري يتم تركيبه علي ال WSS لاضافة العديد من الخدمات الاخري , و لذلك لعمل Setup ل MOSS يجب اولا عمل Setup

لل WSS.

خصائص و خدمات ال WSS 3.0

1- WSS عبارة عن تطبيق ويب (Web-based Application).
2- تعتمد علي MS SQL Database لتخزين كل المعلومات.
ليس بها امكانية القرأة و الكتابة في قواعد بيانات خارجية
3- تستخدم ال Web parts لعرض المعلومات.
مثل contacts web part و news و يوجد بها اقل من 10 web parts فمثلا لا يوجد web part خاص بعرض MS Excel Spreadsheets
4- بها امكانيات جيدة لادارة المستندات (document-management features).
مثل document columns : لاضافة خصائص جديدة لوصف الملفات
و document views انشاء اكثر من شكل لعرض المستند
و توفر امكانية عمل Workflow او تتبع للمستند (تنفيذ مهمة معينة بعد التعديل او اضافة, مثلا لو عدل احد الاعضاء المستند X يتم ارسال بريد الكتروني الي المدير بشكل ألي) او انتظار approval من المدير علي تعديل او اضافة.
و content types : بمعني تحديد انواع الملفات التي يمكن اضافتها في document library معينة
و individual permissions : التحكم في صلاحيات المستخدمين علي المستند
ليس بها خصائص متقدمة لادارة المستندات مثل document policies
وتوفر check out/in لعمل lock لل document لضمان عدم ضياع التعديلات في حالة اكثر من مستخدم يقوم بالتعديل في نفس الوقت
5- توفر عدد كبير من انواع ال List التي تسهل تخزين كل انواع البيانات.
مثل contact lists و News Lists و الاعلانات و غيرهم و يمكن انشاء custom Lists
6- تناسب بقوة الشبكات المحلية البسيطة (Intranet Solutions).
ليس بها خصائص متقدمة تناسب ال advanced intranet features مثل ال content management
7- حل مثالي لادارة المشاريع (projects data)و المقابلات (meetings) و الاحداث الاجتماعية (social events).
بالنسبة لل project management :
يوجد Gantt Schema عبارة عن Calendar يقوم بعرض المهام و التواريخ علي شكل رسومات
و يمكن اضافة ملفات خاصة بالمشروع مثل word / Excel /PPT و التحكم في ال members المعنيين بالمشروع
و يوجد ايضا contacts المرتبطة بالمشروع مثل الخاصة بالعملاء و الاستشارين و الشركاء المرتبطين بالمشروع
و الكثير من التسهيلات الاخري مثل ال emails
و معني انشاء New Project اي انشاء New site خاص بالمشروع و يتم تحديد اعضاء المشروع باعطائهم الصلاحية للدخول الي هذا الموقع و ارسال بريد الكتروني لهم به رابط للموقع الخاص بالمشروع
و هكذا بالنسبة لادارة ال Meetings و ان شاء الله سيتم شرح كل نوع من انواع المواقع المتاحة في ال Sharepoint
لتوضيح فكرة وجود site templates مثل project site template او meeting site template
يجب اولا ان تعلم ان ال sharepoint عبارة portal web site بمعني وجود web site رئيسي يمكن انشاء مواقع داخله بشكل سهل و من المتصفح

8- توفر عملية فهرسه للمعلومات و خدمة البحث (indexing and searching information).
لا يوجد فهرسة و لا بحث في اي معلومات خارج نطاق ال WSS
9- ال Lists و المكتبات (libraries) يمكن استخدمها كـ RSS Feeds
10- توفر نماذج مواقع (Site templates) لانشاء مواقع Wiki و Blogs.
11- alerts : بمعني تنبيه المستخدم بالبريد الالكتروني باي تعديل في المعلومات مثل اضافة contact جديد او خبر جديد او تعديل مستند و هكذا
12- مجانية و تعمل علي Windows Server 2003.

اما بالنسبة لل MOSS فهو يشمل كل انواع المواقع التي يشملها WSS مع مزيد من الوظائف

1- امكانية عمل بحث علي اي نوع من المعلومات في اي مكان (global search)
2- امكانية توجية جزء معين من المعلومات الي مجموعة او اكثر من المستخدمين.
3- امكانية جلب بيانات المستخدمين من ال Active Directory
4- امكانية أدارة المحتويات بشكل متقدم (advanced content management) بالنسبة لمواقع الانترنت العامة (public internet sites) او portal sites

7- امكانية عرض MS Excel SpreadSheets و ايضا الرسومات البيانية (Charts) في web parts باستخدام Excel Services
8- امكانية البحث و التعديل في قواعد بيانات خارجية مثل SAP باستخدام Business Data Catalog.

بصفة عامة MOSS منتج جيد لانشاء public Internet sites او global Intranets
لادارة البيانات بشكل سهل و smart و وضع الصلاحيات المناسبة للمعلومات المناسبة و مناسب جدا للتعامل مع ال business data مثل MS Excel و ال Forms
و ال key performance indicators / KPIs

ملحوظة : ربما تجد صعوبة في تخيل ال Administration او ادارة ال MOSS و لكن مع بداية الشرح العملي سوف تتضح الامور ان شاء الله
